Facebook has banned far-right group Britain First and its two leaders.

That name might sound familiar. President Donald Trump retweeted a series of anti-Muslim videos from one of the leaders back in November.

On Wednesday, the social media giant said in a statement that "Content posted on the Britain First Facebook Page and the Pages of party leaders Paul Golding and Jayda Fransen has repeatedly broken our Community Standards."

Facebook said the administrators of the pages had been given final warnings and were blocked when they kept posting content that was "designed to incite animosity and hatred against minority groups."

Twitter has also suspended the accounts associated with Britain First.
