Argentina has become the latest country to reach one million reported cases of COVID-19.
Its health ministry reported the number Monday.
Argentina is the fifth country to hit 1 million, joining the U.S., India, Brazil and Russia.
As a second wave of the coronavirus takes hold in Latin America, Colombia, Mexico and Peru are all expected to reach 1 million, as well.
