The organizers of the "A Day Without a Woman" protest have reportedly been arrested in New York City.

The official Women's March account tweeted photos of organizers, including Tamika D. Mallory, Linda Sarsour and Carmen Perez, in the back of a police van. The account earlier stated that protesters planned to form a human wall around Trump International Hotel.

NYPD officials told outlets at least 13 people had been arrested during the demonstration at Columbus Circle, which is right outside the hotel.

The New York march was part of a larger movement of strikes, walkouts and demonstrations meant to highlight the role women play in the workforce. The movement was organized by the same group that orchestrated the Women's March on Washington back in January.

The NYPD hasn't confirmed any of the charges or identities of those arrested, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
