Monitoring groups say two rounds of airstrikes from coalition forces on the ISIS-controlled town of Mayadin, Syria, have killed at least 106 civilians, 42 of whom were children.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that at least 10 ISIS fighters were killed in the attack. Most of those killed in the bombing were reportedly relatives of ISIS fighters

While campaigning, President Donald Trump said he would kill the families of ISIS members as a way to fight terrorism, even though it's against the Geneva Convention

"I would hit them, Brian, so hard. You have to take out their families. When you get these terrorists, you have to take out their families. They care about their lives, don't kid yourselves," Trump said on "Fox and Friends" in 2015.

This comes just a day after the U.S. confirmed another coalition strike killed at least 101 civilians in March while targeting ISIS snipers in Mosul, Iraq.
